Jintao stood silently as the two communed. "Those notes," he finally stepped forward. "Mind showing us some of those ships? I'm sure we would like to come to an agreement sooner than later." He nodded his head forward. "For as long as it took you to get around, I would have thought you had found a ship, named her crew, and set sail and back if you had the knowledge to do so."
The siren's eyes slit as she fixed Jintao with an intense, emotionless stare.
"Do we follow it, or run away?" Tay murmered arching her brow as she glanced towards Jintao.

Jintao watched Nautalis disappear in the fog. "If we don't follow," he kept his tone close to a whisper, "she'll be constant trouble for us. That is, if she doesn't drown us on our first step away."
"Then here, Jin," she pointed to him, then to herself. "We act as a team. A real team. I'll be real with you, and you be real with me. If you don't trust her, and I don't trust her, then that's enough for me to form some sort of.." she looked away, then back again, "constitution within our.. alliance." A smile flashed across her dry lips. "Deal, or no deal?"
Jintao continued to watch the fog. For the hurry they appeared to be in, it wouldn't take her long to realize they weren't following. He glanced at Tay before handing her his hand. "Deal," he whispered.
She gave a curt nod.
