Wait, I don't mean to be looking for compliments, and I'm sorry if I've been painting myself as, uh, ACTUALLY victimized but you all have had such wonderful input to this plot, and I just feel really bad that I don't have the time to put in more than I already am. Everyone is doing so well! And I appreciate everyone's loyalty to stick this through, even while a plot is still developing.

Jintao's eyes met with Nautalis', but only for a moment. He looked down at the planks as his bitterness dug further into his being. Swim, he inwardly fumed. That was a task he'd never be able to do, even if he tried.
"Fair enough then." He looked back up, though he fixed his gaze further ahead instead of allowing it to fall on Nautalis. "We will walk, but don't be blaming me for your slacking."

I wrote 50k words in a month.
And gained nothing.
Destroyed my prose, habit, and inspiration.
Augh.

50k words in one month?
Authors recommend writing only 1,000 words in one day (or spend 30 minutes in one day) so they don't get burnout.
