The nest smallest chickens

Can someone tell me what is the next smallest chicken after the serama's. ?I only like the small ones. But i cant get serama here. I wanted to know what was the next size up. The ones that crow very loud. It is cute when they crow.

I think it would be Japanese bantams or Dutch bantams not 100% though

Japanese are pretty big compared to serama. I'd say the Dutch bantams or Old English Game Bantams.

ok. I dont think we can get dutch here. But i can get the english game. Those are smaller than the japs?

Yes, the OEGB are smaller than the japanese. The japanese have shorter legs, but they are heavier/thicker than old english.

Is there another name for the dutch. I even looked on Mcmurray site. I dont see they have any either

Nope, just Dutch or Dutch bantams.

try Ideal hatchery out of Texas. they have both Dutch and Old English. I have gotten Dutch from them in the past and I was very pleased with the birds I got. may even order some again this spring. Also we get pretty cold in the winter.
