i got my traps at the tractor supply store. they had 3 traps in one. that largest one is the only one any good for coons. the medium one they just move around the yard. kinda wish i had a bigger one.
It seems that somewhere there is a coon factory just cranking out those little bastages.
Curse you.. racoon maker factory.
We got so many now this year its hard to belive there are any left now.But they keep coming. And coming.
I think they are making up for the drought we had last year.
I am running out of spaces to dig up graves to bury them all.
Oh yeah.. word of advise.. dont throw them on a burn pile to get rid of them. Its rather nasty.. trust me..
So last week the neighbors dog killed some of my chickens. I burried the chickens. A few days ago something decided to did up a few of the chickens for a snack. A assumed it would come back so I set the live trap out on top of where the chickens are buried with some cat food in (assuming it was a possum or raccon).
Guess what I caught in the live-trap this morning?
A chicken
She must not have gone in the coop with the others last night and I locked her out--so she decided to help herself to some breakfast this morning in the trap!!! I've never caught a chicken in a trap before
