Welcome Nick, from the coast of California. Our climate is very mild compared to yours so our hens are outside from 6:00 am to 9:00 p.m. You can see them on my Backyard Hencam (below) if you'd like. After three years of having them, I'm down from six in the beginning to three now. I'll have to add a couple soon. Best of luck to you on this new project!
