The New Kid

Hi! I just joined BYC today, with the intent of learning a lot about chickens and in so doing, improving the lives of my feathered girls! I just got chickens this May. My husband had some earlier in our marriage, but I wasn't very involved with them. These girls are mine!

I have 2 Black Austrolorps, a Gold Laced Wyandotte, a Light Brahma, a Rhode Island Red, an Americana, and my very favorite--a Barred Rock named Barbi. Barbi has a TON of personality and is very very friendly. I especially love Barbi. I am an animal person in general and also have goats, dogs, cats, parrots, and horses. I am looking forward to learning tons!
