They approached the house. Em felt her side to make sure her gun was handy. "Arthur, listen if something happens to me, i want you to know," she sighed and paused " you mean a lot to me." She sighed. Then turned away. (Ok im not going to be on much, so it would be helpful and would keep the stort moving,if we write in more than one liners.)

(Luke isn't home) Arthur wasn't sure how to react. He looked over at the house then at Em. "Em, I..." He started but quickly stopped. After a moment he finished. "I'm not going to let anything happen to you. I promise." He wanted to tell her he liked her, but didn't want to say it in case something happened and he did lose her. He looked back over at the house. "I guess I should get this over with."
