Camping sounds like fun, too bad about the humidity.

I got a new bread baking book yesterday. I might have to try a recipe out of it today :)

I haven’t done much for baking. I’m getting the itch though. I was just checking out angel biscuits on Pinterest.
Enjoy your new cookbook. I wish I could be your taste tester:D
 
Good morning all!

It has been so pretty here the last couple of days. Climate change has been good to us this summer, lower temperatures and no drought. Low 90s again today, so I guess it is a weed eating kind of day. The 3 year Olds will be visiting this weekend, so we are all excited about that.
The internet and cell service here has been awful the last few days. I'm not sure why, but it takes forever for pages to load. I guess that's the price we pay for living out here. (Worth it.)

My little hen who is raising the ee x brahma babies is still trying to keep them in the nest. They are 8 weeks and ready to roost, but she makes them go to the nest box every night. Lol. Not sure when she will cut the apron strings.

Years ago when my sister first started painting she gave me a lighted Christmas elf she had painted. I asked her to repaint it a couple years ago as she had gotten much better. She did it but wasn’t thrilled :lol: It was so much better.

Maybe. She's so bad that after she started fearing spiders she freaked out when I told her there was one in the tomato plant. Mind you at the time we were picking her up from camp 150 miles from home.

Omgoodness and there's bugs everywhere, outdoors camping. Lol
