The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Leave a LightOn, sorry about your nail too (but I did have to chuckle at the "something gross" part).

Blooie, what a morning you had! Hope your day has gotten better.

We just came back from an errand in town. Christmas stuff is starting to make an appearance. Too early for me...but then it usually is until around Thanksgiving time.

My day got much, much better, NFC...

It seems like forever that I've been singing little songs to Kendra. After I knew she had heard one several times, I started leaving out words here and there and waiting for her to fill in the missing word, a game she is getting very good at playing with me.

Today she was playing with her Play-dough and I told her it was time to clean up because it was time to cath. She immediately started picking it up (it was smooshed pretty flat!) and started singing to herself while she cleaned up. I was stunned! I grabbed the camera and she stopped, but I asked her to sing it again. She did! Notice the melody...the sound effect....the inflections....Eureka - we have our key to language!

Good morning Sunflour! I don't think it is...just a blood blister under the nail. That'll teach me to pay attention, and of course it's the pointer finger which you use for everything

Wish I had seen this earlier - have you tried the heated paper clip end to drain it, or you have access to an 18 gauge needle you can carefully drill a hole.

IN the past have had 2 caught in a door finger injuries and they are a problem til they grow out ---- keep it taped or bandaged til the damaged area grows out - takes about 6 months on a fingernail.

It's not looking like a blood blister...just a bruise...hurt like heck though. I'm glad it's not a blood blister,ugh!
