Hubby gets to go back on the 25th for a ct scan and another hearing test. The doctor said if it’s what he thinks it is, it’s hereditary. (Otosclerosis)The boys have a 50/50 chance of getting it.

Darn, not something to be fixed with surgery then if it's hereditary. So will hearing aids be needed eventually?

I think they can still do surgery but I’m sure hearing aids will be needed. He doesn’t have much hearing in the other ear. He has religiously worn ear plugs most of his life.
