Went camping in Santa Cruz this passed weekend for my anniversary. We discovered a "grassland" trail right off the HWY with a few cows grazing.

It was fine, thanks. I think today is the last of our hot weather for at least the next 10 days, looking forward to 70-80 temps for sure!

Been working outside today on the house. Super excited getting a good start to building it. After we get some walls up I'll have to take my one kitten to the shelter since there is blood in their stool. Probably get them checked out and sent home with some meds

Your dad is lucky to have a helping hand. I'm pretty particular about how things get done but having help is better than no help. I use to be pretty bad... but I've realised it is nearly impossible to keep anything "perfect" with 4 boys and 2 huskies.

It's nice having my dad help of course. He is at the age where he's starting to slow down a little bit and wants to be in his pjs at 5pm and watch tv for the night. Nothing wrong with that but I would love to have his guidance on building and doing electrical stuff for when I'm on my own. We are working on the building today and it's just nice being able to spend time with him since he and I both work

Fortunately our vet is only a 5 minute drive. The cats do NOT like car rides.

Just put a plate in the back window, the car is legally registered which is what matters. Let DH do it free this weekend.

Me too but I rather wash than put away way more. I left a full counter of dishes for DH

I tried getting them to unload but it's still a work in progress

We use to wash everything by hand just a few years ago but the dishwasher was so convenient I got use to it
When my niece lived here, we had a good method. I washed/loaded and she dried/unloaded.
