It was nice, thanks for asking! We've been out most of the afternoon. First stop was the library, I got my Casper card and we wandered there (it's a really nice library). Then we stopped by the Dollar Tree so I could pick up a couple of Halloween decorations. They were almost gone already! Then we went over to Michael's, DS wanted to pick up some water color paint and a special marker.

Now we're home and I'm resting my feet until it's time to make dinner. Company is very nice to have (but it's tiring)!

Good afternoon, or evening... everyone

Good morning, Debby. I am working this evening/tonight. It is only for 5 hours, so I'm sure my hubby will be fine with MIL.
She is so much more alert now. I'm happy she is better, but I'm afraid she will be more difficult in the weeks to come. She is already talking about going home. I keep telling her, that I want her to stay with us, and make this her home.
She and my husband are oil and water, so I expect some dust ups in the weeks to come.
I'm thinking of moving into the travel trailer. Lol.

sounds like a good plan! Hahaha
Glad she's doing better. I'm hoping she'll say yes to staying.

I couldn't find cherries so I made an apricot cake mix dump cake. It's what I had in the pantry.
Definitely not pie but it satisfied my sweet tooth

I’m glad you had a good day. I have only been in a Michael’s store once. I was looking for wedding flowers.
I have been home by myself several days. Amazing how quiet it is. I’m glad your son is staying for awhile. They are worth the work
What’s for dinner?
I’m waiting for hubby to get home to get Sophie out of the tree. I let her out of the coop to kick up her heels a little bit and she climbed a tree and can’t get down. She has a couple hours to go yet…has been in it several hours.
Hopefully she will learn a lesson!

Do you have any plans to enjoy the weather before it takes that turn?

There is an art museum and the fort to check out. And a wildlife museum. But I think the thing DS is enjoying the most is lounging around and playing with the cats. So we'll have to see how things work out. It's his vacation, so whatever he wants to do is ok with me. I'm just enjoying having him around.
