I love the movie Jack kinda gets tired of his routine every year until he discovers Christmas. After not being able to replicate Christmas (like Santa), Santa gifts the place of Halloween with snow. It's a creepy but cute movie.

It looks perfect but it's cold and windy. I don't think I really know what cold is, or my body is still in 100° summer-mode. I'll share though

OK, I know that is a bit self serving

Last year we had snow in September, guess we're doing better than that

In the past it hasn't been unusual to have a light "melts the next morning" snow in September. No freeze yet this year and Wunderground doesn't show one in the 10 day forecast. Very weird for sure.

I didn't remember either until DH and my cousin reminded me...I do a good job of forgetting unpleasant things

Hope the end of the month will be ok, I don't want Halloween ruined for the kids.

We are about to end another PGandE power cutoff. This one was for 55,000 customers. Our county had a handful of power cutoffs.



Hopefully the wind will move from the south and send some moisture this way!

No freeze here yet or forecasted in the next 10 days either. I just noticed I have a bunch of tomato plants that grew beside my chicken coop from the waste from canning tomato juice. I even have tomatoes on them. I have about 20 potato plants that are close to blossoming. We lost a lot of soybeans while harvesting due to the pods being too dry and popping open and they are all growing. I have never seen regrowth like this in anything. Bizarre year!
