I am! I’m trying to finger crochet a Christmas tree garland. It is a challlenge I didn’t have to babysit after all and I lost my ambition to bake.

I totally get the battle with kids.

Any sort of crocheting is a challenge for me. So I guess with finger crochet you don't use a hook at all? Once you get it done, I'd like to see a picture!

I have never crocheted. I’m going to do 3-4 short ones. This is 8.5 feet. It looks like an amateur made it Maybe the next will be better. If I lived in town I would have gotten one from my sister. She has hooks like I have cookie cutters.

We used a stich something like this with plastic thread to make key chains at 4-H camp.

That would be neat. I wanted to do natural wood beads but they are expensive.
