I know what you mean with the whole family being busy! I’m happy to know you had a good get together with some of them yesterday. We are hunkered down for now. Cleaning house and going to put up our tree and lights this weekend.

Sounds like it's the day to make pie for everyone. DH is making pumpkin tonight.



It was insane at the stores. The first had nothing but large turkeys so, i grabbed a ham but we went to another store and found a large turkey breast
I actually found the gingerbread set of 4 ! For the first time, small might be easier to work with and DH made it clear that he's not helping Thank you for the idea, Debby!

Are you prepared for more babies if it was a male bunny?

Not prepared at all! DH keeps saying the other rabbit was only small. I did remind him that boy rabbits don't need to be very old to become fathers. DS (who is 10) keeps saying he'd really love to have some baby bunnies and he has declared that we cannot shoot the wild rabbit. Our pet girl is his rabbit and she is the sweetest rabbit in the world. I have warned DS that if she is pregnant she might get grumpy so at least he won't be offended if that does happen.

She's the biggest character of the bunch. She's adorable and so funny. She and the other girl already have a home, as does one of the boys. These babies I can sex from their mutations which is always handy, but some pairs I can't.

Are you going to join the New Years day hatch a long?

I'm a bit over having chicken chicks in the house and I keep telling our current little batch to hurry up and grow some feathers so I can put them outside. I'm hoping my silly bantams that are up in the trees (there are at least four up there) don't hatch anything else. We do want to make mobile coops to move them around the farm so that should keep them out of the trees. So unless I happen to have cockatiels hatching babies I'll be sitting this one out.
