Opie and I are home from the vet's. The vet said it looks like Opie is developing asthma. So far it was just a steroid shot and we'll watch it from here.

The boy weighs 18 pounds 11 ounces My little boy has grown up!

I had no idea cats can develop asthma. Poor little guy! Would he have to take pills for it to control it NFC?

My Opie was almost 13 lbs at one point.

I had to go back to correct my post about Opie's weight...he is 18 pounds 11 ounces. The boy is a hunk.

18 lbs! Wow, him’s a big boy. Got a laser pointer? That would run those 11 oz off pretty quick I bet.

We do have a laser pointer but that's a game he only plays with DH. Opie's funny that way.

The vet recommended Science Diet for Hairballs formula to get his weight down. My cats don't have a hairball problem but the vet said it has a lot of fiber in it so that might keep Opie from eating so much.

Maybe something like this would work? Kinda expensive on here but I think I got it for like $6 at Ollies a while ago before I decided she actually needed to gain instead but yeah. Maybe you could find it cheaper somewhere, idk. But could possibly work ??
