Thanks! It’ll be a busy one, that’s for sure. We’ve been doing bare minimum around here over my birthday, then the New Year’s weekend, so it’s time to get busy. Ken’s office/den and my kitchen are the only rooms completely finished (except for painting the kitchen - I still can’t decide on a color). The living room is close to finished. Our modular dealer is bringing a couple over Tuesday morning to walk-through and our bedroom closet is still full of stuff that needs to be sorted and put away.

What happens when we pack and move? I mean, we started packing non- essentials back in July, Everything was wrapped carefully, packed in UHaul boxes (we bought a ton of those), and labeled. They were neatly stacked in storage unit #3 until it was getting full, then I rented unit #5. We purged as we packed, and we were brutal in donating, giving stuff to the kids, and trashing. The old place had to be cleared out before October 2nd. Come September we were dumping drawers in boxes, labeling them “Misc” and heaving them into #5. Overflow or stuff we wanted at hand was stacked on top of and around the hot tub in the hot tub room and in the garage, a lot of it not even boxed up. We totally lost control of the process and we’re paying for that carelessness now. <sigh>
