Good morning everyone, I hope you’re all well and safe! @N F C I was sorry to read you’ve lost one of your girls :hugs@Grammy60 and @rjohns39 I loved the Todd pic:gig@DigMyChicks I’m sure your sister is happy to have your help! @Blooie the porch is great and it has such a beautiful view! Everything is looking great. @sourland a belated Happy Anniversary to you and Princess!

We’re hearing much about drought and water rights here these days and have been working on storing more water for an emergency. I’ve recently added blueberries to my garden and I’m waiting on an apple tree to arrive. The bunnies have been in their outdoor area for a while and really seem to enjoy the space. Work is super busy and some of our admin have been out with Covid so a few of us are pitching in to get through our contact email after work. Me included. Makes for a few long days but I’m going to like that paycheck! I finally saved up enough points for performance to get a shredder for my yard waste, now I’m saving for a generator. Oh, and we have termites, so that’s where the extra hours will come in handy…we need the extra bucks to deal with that. The clock says it’s time to get ready for work, have a good day all and enjoy the coming weekend!
Good morning IM 😊 it's great to have you back.
Good morning Debby, IM. I love the sunflower Debbie! IM nice to see you. :frow
Good morning Mark 😊
Have a good day all! Good morning Mark!
Good morning again DMC 😁 my oops
Good morning all

More than likely .... but given the "drop" is only a few inches and Kendra is in a wheelchair, does the railing have to be full height with balusters? Could it be much more open such that she and her chair can't accidentally go past the edge. It isn't like you need to worry about a little kid falling 4' to the ground.
Good morning Bruce 😊

Good morning. I hope.
Good morning Sour 😊

Good morning Sue, how are you doing today?
Hi Debby, I'm doing pretty good, thanks for asking. It's nice to not have PT anymore, but I still need to do my exercises at least 3 times a week. I really enjoy my time with the chickens, since it gives me time out of the house and time to stretch my legs.

Thanks, Debby! I can’t wait until you get to make a run up here and crash in the guest room!! Sunny and balmy here again today….not a cloud in the sky and already 33 degrees!
Good morning Mark :frow

Sunflowers are my favorite, when you grow up in Kansas, they have to be :)
Hmmmm….so what we grew up with works that well as an avatar? Wonder what the response would be if I changed mine to a dead pheasant! :lau

That’s my argument too, Bruce! It’s not like it’s a huge drop. But Kendra has never fallen in her 10 years of life - she has no concept of even the threat of falling. She’ll crawl right up to the edge of something and try to keep going unless one of us grabs her and moves her away. We’ve seen her do it at my old house on the deck steps. She loved to sit out on the old deck…she’d sneak outside every chance she got. Usually she just crawled over to the chairs out there and climbed up in one, watching the chickens or playing with the dogs. Ken plans on putting another outdoor rug out there for her - bare concrete is a little tough on the knees, even as calloused as hers are. Here she is with Fee one day when she’d sneaked out…
