This spring or summer, we're going to build a big planter (or 2) on the right side and replace that ancient fire pit. Can't see it in this picture but to the right of the picnic table is my coop & run built on the back of the garage.

From another angle, some of my big flower pots waiting for spring. The tub thing by the pots is the original cast iron bathtub from the bathroom and DH is going to frame & skin it with wood for another planter. And you can see Casper Mountain from our backyard.:)

So there you go, can't say I didn't share fence pictures!

Thank you. I'm sure they see so many people, and run into situations all the time. Looking back, maybe she didnt know how to deal with an upset customer especially how she ignored me.
I've seen several ads for tellers and bank personnel. The ads always state: "must have excellent customer service skills"
I'm sure everyone has bad days, but ignoring you was just rude. Please. Don't beat yourself up.
AMEN!!! You had every right to be frustrated. Incompetence when dealing with someone else’s money is inexcusable. I don’t why they always act like it’s THEIR money instead of yours, and why they seem to look down on people when they come in to make a financial transaction. We are perilously close to pulling our accounts from Wells Fargo and putting it in the smaller local bank where we got our construction loan for the house. After just 3 payments on our loan, the tellers already addressed me by name as soon I walked inside and have joked with us and chatted with us as if we’re old friends. It’s just that we have so many direct deposits, four of them from the US government, (2 SS, Ken’s military retirement and his military disability) and we don’t want snafus from complications trying to change them.

Tam’s gonna be fine. She’s tough, strong, and independent. People love working with her because of her sunny disposition. Her residents love her for her humor, compassion, and enthusiasm for taking on projects that break the monotony for them.

Good morning, everyone! Skies are bright and sunny, but it’s going to be colder - 38 degrees. Gotta love living in the banana belt of Wyoming!
I'm sure Tam got her winning personality from you, Blooie. I hope she loves her new job!
My poor little guy Opie is having problems with coughing again. He'll be seeing the vet tomorrow morning. Last time they just gave him a steroid injection and that seemed to help but only for about a month. Hope they can get him better for good. 🐱
I hope your Opie gets well fast. You'll have to snuggle with him.

Poor baby! I hope they can figure it out tomorrow 💜
On the subject of banks...after a bad experience with a big bank about 35 years ago, I switched to a credit union. I've been a member of one in Kansas, one in south FL, another in north FL and now one in Wyoming.

Never had a bad experience with any of the ones I've dealt with. I'm sure they're all different so maybe I've just been lucky. But I think that they are member owned makes them more accountable to their customers.
I've thought about switching banks but, I've been there for so long I dread it but it's not like I know anyone there anymore. Got so use to seeing familiar faces, it was always a pleasure catching up

DH has a local bank but its closed on the weekends. I wonder if it's a credit union or not 🤔

 thats a really nice fence! Great job 👏 love all the plans you got, and that idea for the repurposed bathtub to a planter is so creative! Better update when something changes :p

We've actually had a pretty mild winter so far this year. Some snow but not nearly as much as last year (which is fine with me)! As far as cold, we've had plenty of that with more to come...Wednesday our high is supposed to be 11*.

I've been waiting by my mailbox for the invitation for some warm weather and tacos & margaritas at your place!

Mad, some credit unions are open on Saturday. I think it has to do with how many members (customers) they have or what size of city they are in.

Good MOOrnin Sue! :hugs :hugs
Hello Mad 😁 have a great Monday

We are with Navy Federal Credit Union and they are open on Saturday. When our son joined the Marines I joined it with him for doing his banking while overseas. When he got out, I just stayed with them Andi like their service.

💯 well said! Thank you Blooie :hugs

What is the banana belt of Wyoming?
It seems the state is dissected East to West at almost the exact center. South of that imaginary line (which includes both of @N F C ‘s places) they get hammered with bad weather. North of it, where live, being in a basin surrounded by mountains moderates our weather pretty well. The first 10 years we lived here, we didn’t even own a snow shovel. Ken just grabbed my kitchen broom snd swept the snow off the walks.
It's the part of Wyoming I'm not in
Awwww! I tried to get you to move to Cody!

Me too!! Fingers crossed! Fiona’s abscess is back too. She’s going back in for x-rays to see if it’s a bad tooth or if she has a small splinter of wood from chewing on sticks in there.
:frow Good morning Blooie, have a great day
Thank you kindly! I hope yours is great too!

Nope, can’t say that anymore!! We’ll have to make a run down that way and see it in person when you get your planter finished and all your flowers planted!

Thank you Sue, I love my little old brick house. There are plenty of projects to work on but it's come a long way from when we first bought it. It's very cozy and just the right size for us. And the neighborhood is quiet.
