Not yet, but its been too cold and snowy outside any way. That might be a spring project.

Good morning!! I got behind because suddenly my notifications aren’t working. I knew there had to be posts, so I went to my ‘watched threads’ and sure enough…

Glad you got your sister moved, DMC. I know you’re worried and wished you lived closer, but having raised a child with mental health issues I’ve learned that even if I lived WITH her, I couldn’t ease what she goes through. So you do what you can, when you can, and then live your life for you.

We never did get to the utility room yesterday, and aren’t likely to get at it today either. <sigh> I’ve got all the kids coming for dinner tonight. Oh, well….it ain’t going anywhere.

We will, I’m sure. This will be the first time I’ve had them all at the same time since we moved in. Tam and Evan didn’t make it for Christmas because Evan was so sick. If I had pig cheeks in the freezer, that’s what we’d be having. Funny, when I sent a group text to them to invite them, both Tam and Kenny responded back at almost the same time hoping that was what I was fixing. But we haven’t been back to South Dakota for a long time, so they’re stuck with pork roast, taters, gravy, homemade bread, sauerkraut, applesauce, and corn on the cob that I froze last fall.

Just stopping by for a quick hello before I clean the chicken coop and run.
