Ken just left and will be gone about an hour. This morning is "Doughnuts with Dad Morning" at the elementary school. Katie's class is helping serve. Kenny couldn't go because by now he's already been at work for 3 hours...he goes in at 4am. So Grampa volunteered to stand in. It's for the whole school, so Jen took Kendra to pre-school at 7, then Ken is meeting her and her aid Pam in the lobby of the elementary school and he'll take over from there. The pre-school is in the building that houses the school district headquarters...a beautiful old sandstone building that used to be the Big Horn Academy (Cowley's old high school) and was completely renovated about 10 years ago. It's breathtaking! It's on the other side of the school parking lot. Anyway, all the kids had to meet at the schools between 7 and 7:15 to get ready for the dads. Hope somebody gets a photo of Ken wearing a crown!
