Just went out to feed my dogs and their outside pen where they run is all muddy so basically mud wrestled me while I was getting their wet food out of the can

I'll be getting chicks at the end of this month and wondered if they can be in pine shavings. I use aspen wood shavings for my hamster and curious if chicks can use the same. It's been years since I've had chicks so I need a refresher course

Brrr, it's cold outside this morning. We ended up with about 5-6" of the white stuff and it's 5* this morning.
