It is 100% the best smell in the world! If you can figure out how to bottle it, you'll make a fortune. And I'll be your first customer (since my 2 boys refuse to provide a g-baby of my own).

My mom gave me her old metal baby powder can from when she was a baby back in 1930:

Of course the powder is long gone, but she said it has some old coins in it. I can hear them rattling around in there, but don't want to bang it up opening the can.

I had forgotten how sweet newborns are, he's just the most adorable thing! It's been a whirlwind of appointments and meetings this week. I even had to go get fingerprinted this morning, that was fun Hopefully things will settle down next week and I can get him on a schedule. He turned one week old today

It was crazy like usual. How was your day?

There’s going to be some changes within all the schools. They need to cut money. There’s a community meeting tonight and then a school board meeting next week. You should see some of their crazy ideas. I know if they want me to drive to another one of the schools I won’t stay. I like my quick commute.

My day has been ok, I got to see the sun

I've always thought when budget talks start up at schools, they should look at administration first. With my boys schools anyway, there was a lot of fat that could have been trimmed there, but instead the teachers and kids were affected the most.

It’s going to be interesting what happens. There’s talk of having no principals in any of the three schools...not sure who would be in chargeOne has offered to take a 3 year leave.

Just heard military jets go over .. again. They've been real active this past week. Didn't hear any though the last couple of days. But now. We have a big Air force base in the next county. Now for some real sad news. Found out yesterday that one of our grandchildren just got deployed over to...I can't say where on here, but you can guess. Prayers for her. They say we won't fight, but I don't know.....
