I think my mom will be able to go home from her stay in the physical therapy place this week. Who knows how long she'll be able to stay in her house, but she's looking forward to getting there.

My back is a reoccurring issue...pack a little, move some boxes, hurt the back. Rest it and repeat. I'm trying to take it easy when I can but am so ready to be done with this. I'm not long on patience though (about anything :lol:) so it can't be done too soon for me!

Oh, the angst of coming up with an idea and then actually getting something entered! It would have been far easier if I HAD been competing against just me! :lau

Good news about your Mom! I can only imagine how badly she wants to go home, a day or two in the hospital and I’m well over it.

I understand not being long on patience and wanting it done ASAP.. you might try stopping BEFORE you hurt yourself, just sayin :lol: Any word on a new place in FL yet?

It may be a “weed” but it sure is pretty! I have several vining plants here and I can’t wait for them to grow up and look like that!

Between the hospital and the rehab place, mom's been away for almost a month. I guess she'll have someone to come in and check on her a few times a week, at least at first. That will help keep her on her toes when it comes to doing her strengthening exercises.

No news on a new place in FL yet. We thought we had a good lead on a few homes I found online. DH went to check them out this past weekend, turns out the internet listings were a farce! The pictures looked good, prices were right and the descriptions included things like new countertops and stainless appliance. He found out they aren't even built yet. :rolleyes:
