Glad you found your boy Mark! Maybe some tuna would tempt him?

Just the sound of the can opener is enough to bring my cats running (even if it isn't anything they would eat).

We now have in our possession one Tommy Chew. He was under a building and froze up there I got the garden hose and Susie on one end with a long piece of tubing and she caught him. I am so happy Susie is smiling again Thank you all.

My mom would always say "its not possible, that's why we get hail" but now, I'm starting to realize she probably said that not to scare me.... ughh parents... :barnie always had an explanation so I never questioned.

Well, on the way to Billings yesterday, Ken said he was concerned about the increasing shortages of staples. I bake all of our breads, and three of my recipes call for eggs. Eggs are getting hard to find, as are flours. I can order my flour, but I can’t order eggs. So now he wants to close the open end of that one cattle panel and get 4 chicks. Again. I thought I was done with chickens, but I confess I do kinda miss having them and the fresh eggs. I don’t need a lot of chickens….there’s just the two of us and I don’t want to be inundated with eggs. But we are using more than we used to use. So I guess I need to bust out Mama Heating Pad again.

I am down to three hens but I did hatch out chicks 7 weeks ago. I am looking forward to having egg in the winter again!

We had a cat disappear once for quite some time. I found him stuck in and old swamp cooler. He could not get up the fan and back out!

He was one very lucky kitty. I barely heard him meowing from the alley.
