I had to make a run to town this morning as I couldn’t find my billfold. Panic!! The last time I remember having it was the grocery store on Thursday. I called the owner and asked if I left it there. He said no. He called me a little while later and someone had stuck it in a drawer. Talk about a sick feeling. All of my credit cards (except one), ID, cash were in there.

I gave up on washing windows. Holy Windy City the dust is flying! I had a bedspread on the line and it shredded a corner:hmm

I would have panicked as well, glad you found it! If you need windows to clean it’s not windy here.

Oh, my dear Marie….there’s more to life than chickens! When real life bites us in the hiney, it’s good to have non-judgemental people in your corner.

Thanks, me too! I think I’ll pass, it’s probably hot there🤣 I sure like having windows on my house but I don’t like to clean them.

Three of them are doing great. Sadly the one huddling close to the heating pad may not make it. I got to point out exactly which chicks I wanted from the bin but when I selected the last one I turned to talk to Ken while the employee got her out. She was right next to one that didn’t look so great, and I think he accidentally put that one in our box. She’s quiet, seems lethargic, and not very interested in either food or water. We’ll see. You can just make out the syringe laying on the water tub. I’m giving her a few drops of Nutri-drench from time to time. These chicks were hatched and shipped on Monday, received at the store on Wednesday, and we bought them on Friday. One of them still has a bit of egg tooth.

Tank 3! One of the two Light Brahmas. Bright eyed, active, and already on the friendly side.

One of the darker ones. I think this one is a Buff Brahma…seems a bit light to be a Dark Brahma and I didn’t see any really dark chicks in the bin. I’m assuming they were already sold out.
