The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning everyone. Blooie! please go easy on him. :love
I’m over it - never could stay mad at him for long anyway. But sheesh……
Don't worry, Blooie, I'm sure you'll run out of room in the brooder, soon.😁
Maybe I should use a conventional brooder instead of letting them brood in the coop itself. Right now they are in a big box out there, but that’s just temporary. I don’t want them getting so far away from Mama Heating Pad and not able to get back under it because they got ā€œlostā€. I want them to know precisely where it is. But I usually only keep them close to MHP for the first week….this time it seems like every week there’s been a new group of babies that still need to learn their way around.
Good morning. :celebrate We're a bit jetlagged, but we're home.
Welcome home!! We missed you!!

I love water lilies, but I'm pretty sure they aren't edible.
We are having to water frequently. We usually don't have drought season this early.
Texas utilities has requested that everyone keep their thermostat on 78 this season. Not so bad for us, we rarely drop ours below 76, but our girls are complaining. All three of our princesses, prefer their thermostats at 72 or below. Our temp was low 90s yesterday, but our humidity was 74%. 🄵
Was your DH from Ohio? That would explain the girls.

Good morning IM!

Hi Janie!

Crazy weather! I feel for them. I have a bunch of impatiens I brought in last night as it was supposed to be 38 over night. They aren’t planted as I lost my shade trees. I’m not sure what to do with them now.

Where you live maybe…we need sunshine here. Trade you for a bit!!:D
I'm sorry you lost your shade trees!
In our old neighborhood, a couple of years, before we moved out here, huge old oak trees started falling. Flooding, drought, and high winds were making it worrisome to have large oaks in yards.
Good morning everyone 😊 Have a great day

Happy belated Birthday @riss

Welcome back @sourland
Good morning, Sue.
Was your DH from Ohio? That would explain the girls.
Nope, we're all from Texas..no explanation for our girls!🤣

I have not seen any requests like that here yet but will likely see them. We do not go below 78F for The AC setting either.

I would have a bill up to a thousand a month If I set the temp to 72F in the summer. PGE is very expensive. It is already up to 500 per month as it is.
