Not sure yet. I painted my entry and hallway last weekend and need to tape and trim it…not fun though.

Not much in the way of fun this weekend for me either. I need to do some shopping, pick up an online order from TSC, but that all waits until after the dogs go to the P-A-R-K first to play. Tomorrow is yard work and cleaning the coop up a bit.

I need to put my brick back on my fireplace base and grout it. We have to trim around the new entry door. The other entry needs to be all trimmed out. We have to get more trim boards. I dread the cost of that. All the trim has to get put back on in the rest of the rooms that we put flooring in. Hopefully no more projects for awhile. I am sick of the mess.
It sounds like a busy weekend for you too.

I want to rip out all of the baseboards and replace them, I hate the ones in here now. Haven’t been able to find anything I like yet though. I just want simple so they’re easy to clean.

I want to rip out all of the baseboards and replace them, I hate the ones in here now. Haven’t been able to find anything I like yet though. I just want simple so they’re easy to clean.

I like easy to clean too. I hope you find something you like.
Most of the baseboards in our house were mismatched and paint splattered. Some places had no baseboards. The new is just a plain Oak.
This is the old trim…I think it’s Mahogany. It is still around several windows and my deck door.
We found that unfinished in the basement so ended up using them.


This is the new door and baseboard trim. That floorboard isn’t attached yet, but hopefully soon

The seafood is a treat, I'll agree. You should get over to Red Lobster and have something special!

Do you make your own Cuban sandwiches? They are a favorite of ours too, but I haven't found a local place that has good ones. Those were a regular meal option for us in south FL.

I've never learned to make the cuban. There was a cuban deli across the street from my apartment in Tampa that was wonderful.
