Hello. Hope you're doing good and the weather's not too bad up there. We're staying in the 50's and 60's here. Sometimes warmer than that.

Glad your power wasn't out too awfully long. BUT one never knows how long it will be! Do you take drastic measures to keep the refrigerator and freezer food from going bad or just hope for the best? Of course having backup power negates that concern.

Generator powers the entire house so that's not a worry. Even before the 'whole house' generator, we had portable generators to run the pump, sump pumps, refrigerator and freezer.

I've never been that hungry. Grateful for that I guess


They aren't slimy when smoked.


We have a monthly "ash tree" charge on our electric bill. The company is good about removing branches and trees of all nature that are likely candidates for taking out power lines in storms.

All is good here. I would love those temps! We have too much snow but the storms have settled down. It’s raining today so probably icy roads tomorrow as it’s going back into the 20’s vs low 30’s we’ve had the last couple days.
