I'd rather be chauffeured too DMC! Unfortunately, there's a serious lack of chauffeurs around here.

That’s one thing we won’t have to do much anymore. We only have a couple trees left.

I hate that y'all have lost so many trees. A lot of ours are old and disintegrating. The family that owned this place before us, used it for dumping cans, bottles, and other trash. They also wrapped barbed wire around trees for fencing. We had a lot of clean up before we built. Anyway, a lot of those trees have wire in them and they haven't grown properly. Others were crowded out, and some are just very old.

I'm just the opposite, I like being the one at the wheel. Backseat driving gives me anxiety!
(It makes the driver upset too.)

Thanks Janie! We lost a lot of our grove too. We didn’t really notice it until the leaves fell off. Trees are one of my most favorite things. It’s hard to see in these pictures but there’s a lot of downed trees.
Not sure what is going on with this tree that is stripped of bark. It happened in the last couple months. There was bark laying all over the snow.

Driving gives me anxiety. I got my license at 20 years old…hubby and father in law talked me into it.

That is so sad. Unfortunately there are people like that. You sure did a nice job with your place.
