Right? They have to get there too. They don’t live there anymore but had this place booked and don’t want to lose the $1000 deposit they had to put down. We should have all chipped in and payed it so it could have been local. The cost of the motel rooms for our family is half that.

We had a full day yesterday. Today is 2 hours late. It was windy and the sun was shining so the roads were terrible coming home. I have never driven in that much slush before. I had to leave my vehicle outside so it could drip off. It was so packed around my tires I had to dig the snow out. We are in a winter storm watch the next 2 days. With the winds coming, my guess is we’ll have no school. I hope I am wrong.
My nephews wedding is the 25th in Wahpeton, ND (roughly 90 miles from here)I hope the weather gives us a break.

UCD is on the Quarter system so we end in Mid June and the the Fall quarter starts at the end of September. We also run two summer sessions. There is not enough time between winter and fall quarter to run a winter session like semester schools do though.

I went to Cal Poly Pomona, same quarter system. I assume it hasn't changed in the last 43 years (damn I'm old!!!!).
