Back but IKR!? I love it! I still live with my dad but I live in the basement in my own little “apartment” and it’s walk out so it’s great for the dog and I. The yard is fully fenced too from when my brother and SIL were living here with their dogs. And there’s a gate down there so at low tide I can take the dog out on the marsh. He loves it! I can also take the kayak out that way too if I wanted which I’ve done before.
That’s so cool! I would live with my dad in that situation too lol. Honestly, I’ve heard a lot on the news that people are doing just what you are. It’s so expensive to live alone and the money we make doesn’t really make up for it. My daughter and her boys live with us. She makes good money, but with an apartment costing almos $2000 a month she couldn’t afford to feed the kids after her car payment, insurance and utilities. It’s great you have your own space there!
Thanks! Yeah, it’s definitely expensive! Around here $2000 is like the minimum, unfortunately. There’s a lot for $3000-$4000, even 5 or 6 thousand for some. And we’re not even in the city! In Boston it can get into the double digits
it’s crazy!! Might as well just save for a house at that rate. But then even those are super expensive too. It definitely sucks. I’m lucky to be able to live here!

I enjoy looking at the pictures. She liked to frame them. She had a lot on the walls. I did not enjoy unframing them. I’m going through them all and giving them to whoever was in them and donating most of the frames. The nice frames I’m keeping.
He has one girlfriend for sure…I think he’s cheating on her. My brother told me that yesterday. I’m not sure what my sister saw in this guy. Shortly before she died I asked her why she married him. She never answered me. I don’t think she knew the answer. He most definitely did not advocate for her when she was sick. He took her to appointments but never spoke up to get answers.That’s such a shame, but I see where you’re coming from. I hope you guys can get in and out of there quick. It doesn’t sound like he’ll meet anyone soon with a mess like that.
I’m not sure what we’re doing today yet. I need to water stuff so I’m getting started on that now while hubs and the dogs are still in bed. Hopefully he will help me with chores around the house as the laundry got done yesterday despite all the running around we did. We need to vacuum the whole house and mop the tile and that’s a big job.
