The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

You may be having Jacksonian seizures. That's how my visual migraines got diagnosed. My ophthalmologist (retired now) told me that he believed most people who have vestibular migraines have undiagnosed Jacksonian seizures with them.
Thanks, I’ll have to look into that; I do need to get my eyes checked for sure. My next appointment is with an ENT at the beginning of June. For now I’m writing down all my symptoms and plan to get my hearing checked at that appointment as well.

It could go either way, right now I’m just feeling things out financially. If I can swing it I’m going to not work and take the time I need to get to the bottom of this and get a diagnosis. I’m very concerned I’ve got Meniers, but if so it’s considered a disability so that could help resolve some issues. I have an appointment with an ENT June 2nd. Today I feel considerably better than I have, but continue to deal with balance issues. Not bad enough to be nauseous today so there’s that :)
That’s what I was thinking IM. I knew someone that had it. I hope you get answers.

(it’s hard for me to talk unless I’m really comfortable with someone and even then I don’t always)
If it makes you feel any better: you and most everyone else. It isn't easy to open up but sometimes it is necessary.

She told the receptionist why she wasn't paying. She got a call and an apology, but she decided to go elsewhere.
Seems like someone should lose their license to practice.

Yesterday we took a real break, son and I went to Destin to two bookstores, an electronics store, a coffee shop and a Walmart. It was a lot of walking but fun!
Don't you already have enough stuff to pack? ;)

A couple = six.
six can be counted on the fingers of a couple of hands. Now if you had purchased 11 books, that would be a few. 16 would be some ;)

Wow, that is a long time to wait given your symptoms and that you've had them a while now.
I hope you get diagnosed and help.

Thanks Bruce. It is but at least I could get in somewhere. I called six or seven different places before I even got someone to answer the phone and everyone was complaining that they’re short staffed. I’ll take what I can get.

Thank you!! That does make me feel better.

We definitely have enough stuff to pack. Other than the books and the coffee shop, the rest was for my son. He got a "few" books too. I like going to book stores with him, we can spend hours at them without getting antsy.
