Happy Saturday IM 🌻

And a happy Saturday to you DMC 🌻

Hope you get even a little bit of rain out of those clouds!

And last, but never least, happy Saturday to you Janie 🌻

That dog knows how to kick back and relax!
Hi Debby, happy Saturday to you! How’s the house coming along, liveable?

Hi Debby, happy Saturday to you! How’s the house coming along, liveable?

DH subscribes to the policy of "things have to get worse before they can get better". That explains why the garage is a mess with tools, sawdust and empty boxes. It also explains why my freshly washed clothes had dry wall dust on them yesterday. Between work he is doing in the kitchen, the basement and the garage, things are kind of chaotic.

He's happily going about projects to make changes we want. I run around and try to clean up after him (currently, he's ahead of me).

Livable, yes. Done, no. But it will be (eventually)! :gig

That sounds about right lol. At least you’re getting it out of the way now though. Would love to see pics when you’re done!

No storms for us, but my daughter's place had them. They have been without power for more than a day. Lots of limbs and power lines down there.
Sorry to hear that.
Good morning, DMC 🐓

That keeps happening to us. We need rain so badly. Still, we are blessed not to have gotten the tornadoes that others in Texas did.
We got enough to get the ground wet.

One of the current messes was to put a new interior door from the kitchen to the garage. So it's just a door :idunno

The biggest project he's working on how is building a laundry closet in the kitchen for a new small stackable washer/dryer set. Currently the full size machines are in the basement and the basement stairs are very steep and scary (especially carrying anything like a laundry basket). He doesn't want to have to nurse me back to health if I break a leg falling down the stairs so he's making it so I don't have go there. I might need to take a picture of that when it's all finished. I'm really looking forward to it! :love

My son got paged out last night to a farm accident 4 miles North of us. A tree went through a backhoe window and killed the guy. It was pretty horrific. He said he will never get the image out of his head. It was my son’s friends backhoe.(He was afraid it was him when he got the page)I’m not sure why this guy was in the back hoe. Son’s friend was going to be doing work there today. He had dropped it off and left so he wasn’t there when it happened.
I hate when stuff like this happens but it will hopefully make my boys really think when they run heavy equipment. Son’s new business involves taking down trees.
