Our shed guys showed up this morning. It was 2 weeks today since they’d been here. I saw they had a window in. Hopefully by the end of day there is some tin on.

For those of you with Netflix, if you haven’t seen The Pale Blue Eye I recommend it. Christian Bale isn’t one I care for, but he does a great job in this role.

I really liked Christian Bale in 3:10 to Yuma, it's one of my favorite westerns. I thought he was pretty good as Batman too.

June was terrible. It‘s like they did a switch or something.
I just pulled a ton of weeds from the squash. It was actually enjoyable to be outside.

Thanks! I’ve always grown butternut but this year it’s buttercup. They aren’t as meaty but they are sweeter. I thought earlier in the spring we had lost them but they came back. The watermelon did not.
I just got done pulling most of my flowers. They don’t look good this year. Watering with a can is just not the same as a rain.
The shed guys have a side of tin on and 2 windows in. I can’t wait to see the color. I can see it’s up but I don’t want to go down there to look at it. Hubby is working for our son today and I don’t feel comfortable going down there to snoop. I wasn’t with when he picked out colors.

I can do without the flowers. We need rain for the crops. They look ok right now. The cooler weather is probably a good thing.
If they are here a couple full days they will get a lot done.

They are taking 30 campsites out and making the rest larger.

Seems an odd thing to do, I thought more people took up camping when Covid hit. Maybe they mostly quit when they were no longer restricted to outside recreation?

And we're at 102 at 5:40. Reaching 105 tomorrow.

I would die. Oh, wait, those temps, along with the massive overpopulation, is why I moved here from So. Cal in '79 when I graduated college. 85°F and humid here today, plenty uncomfortable enough for me!!
