Nope! I’m baking cookies today for my nephews baby shower on Saturday :D This is for the baby that was born in June. It’s hard to find decorations for babies already here. Everybody has showers before baby is born now days.

My sister loves the heat. She doesn’t turn on her air until she has too. She has her air set at 72. It was too hot for her yesterday. We’ll be able to cut the air with a knife today. I feel sorry for my cats and dog. I’m glad I don’t have chickens.

Take a picture when you're done! You always come up with the prettiest decorated baked stuff.

Yikes, 72* warm.

My grandma was a hard one to visit in the summer. She didn't like cold air blowing on her so she didn't have a/c OR even fans.

My chickens seem to be doing ok. They have siesta under the shade trees from around 1pm to 6pm everyday. My two in/out cats have the option to come inside, but both generally hang out under the trees with the chickens.

We have some new neighbors. Much too close to us. We tried to buy the 2 acres between us and the hwy, but the lady who owned it wouldn't sell. She finally sold it to some relatives instead. They plan to put a manufactured home there. It is a long, shallow lot. It will be awkward having people that close. They seem nice enough though. They were hinting that they want access to our pond for fishing. I'm not sure how I feel about that.
We used to let the (weekend only) neighbors up the road fish but they were always leaving hooks and trash on the bridge. We finally told them no more.

New neighbors are going to take some getting used to. I wouldn't let them have access until you have time to see what they're like. Maybe you could hint they can build their own pond.

Good morning DMC. I feel bad for my chickens, if next year is a repeat of this year I’ll get rid of them. My dogs don’t stay outside, it’s just cruel to leave animals out there in that.

Good morning Janie. I wouldn’t give anyone access to my property. I would use the excuse that it’s a liability and my insurance company says no.
