The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I agree. Someone's always trying to smuggle something in their luggage. They just don't think about the consequences.

That or someone just being oblivious and taking fly-contaminated fruit with them on a trip.

I hope you have a good school year DMC :fl Are there changes everyone is not looking forward to?
Thanks Debby!
One of our Special Ed teachers is not coming back this year. She was awesome. I can’t blame her as a job opened up in her town and that’s where her child goes to daycare.
We have numerous naughty children coming into Kindergarten. Our Superintendent thinks there is no reason that we need 1:1 Para’s. We should be able to help multiple kids at a time. Last year we had a 4th grader that would run out of the classroom and the Para was right behind. We have so many learning and behavioral issues.
We have a family that works there. All are Para’s…mom, son, daughter-n-law. Mom missed over 30 days last year. They cling together when they have opportunity. They were taking 45-50 minute breaks every chance they got. They were supposed to be half hour lunches. At recess they stick together and talk when they should be separated into different areas. Mom really likes her phone and her son likes to read his books in class. Families should not be hired…or put at least 1 of them in preschool.
Our lead cook quit and went to another school district. She works at all 3 of the schools that are part of our District. When someone doesn’t show up she has to work for them. They burned her out. I don’t know who they’ll get to replace her. She’s been there many years.
Anyway, enough whining. This seems to be the way of our world.

Today was 95, felt like 102 and I had to go out in it 😰
Bob had a doctor appointment, he didn't like how low his BP was so sent him to the hospital to figure it out.
While there, they did a scrap load of tests and X-Ray. Found out he has broken ribs from his most recent fall. I will tell him hi from everyone in the morning when I go back to the hospital.

I will tell him in the morning :hugs
Oh no!

My Mom had low blood pressure after being treated for congestive heart failure earlier this year. They adjusted her meds and She is going well now.

Do tell Bob Hi!

Wow, that all sounds like a recipe for disaster DMC...understandable why you're concerned how the school year is going to go. :hugs

Just picked 3 zucchinis and another yellow squash!!! So there are now 7 squash and a bell pepper in the fridge! :th with 8 more bell peppers on the plants! 6 of which are on ONE plant! :th

If that's too many bells for you to use up right away, I've had luck in the past with chopping them and putting them in the freezer. They're great in soups, meatloaf, pasta, etc.

Thanks! That’s good to know! I’ll have to try that.
