Morning IM, any monsoons on your forecast? Or have they decided to skip your area this year?

I think the monsoon skipped us this year Debby. We have two 116 days, then 112, then should cool below 105 for a few days. Looking forward to cooler temps for sure.

Here the days are getting shorter and the overnight temps are a bit lower.

We did not hit 117F this year like last year which is good but overall it was hotter for the average.

We are getting some cooler weather next week.

Thanks everyone it is really bad, you wouldn't have recognized him he is definitely on the mend, but it took a long time to get to this point.

So glad to hear he's doing better.

Yes. It was a fun weekend but I’m glad to be home.
I picked my tomatoes and pulled the plants. I’m working on laundry now.

I feel like it's about time to pull a few plants. Tomato and squash. The squash will keep giving. I've frozen a lot of zucchini.

Actually, that weather will be here before we know it. If time keeps going as fast as it does for me now days. It's almost September already! Where did August go?

I hope we don't have too many limbs down from the storm.

Tomorrow will be the warmest we've been in a while. Back to 97 then back into the 80's again. Seeing high 70's for the weekend. Whoot!

I used to love in Virginia, a child then but remember the beauty of the state.
