I should be over it by now though but I’m not and it’s annoying me.

No you shouldn't! She hasn't been gone all that long. My mother died 20 years ago but I still think about her.

I am seeing signs of Fall here. I say my first flock of Geese heading south this morning.

Curious. We are much farther north and the Canada Geese haven't started flying yet. The songbirds and swallows are gone though.
