Do any of you make new year's resolutions? Here's mine:



For those needing help coming up with resolutions for the new year

 
I would resolve to get more sleep.... But it's not in my control..... Every year lately I have resolved to help my wife get happy and healthy..... At least she quit drinking is a start.
I vote to make this new year a better more productive one and read more books.
I think my biggest resolution will be to try and get up earlier and my grandson wants me to fix up my old Firebird project so we can cruise around in it this summer.

Your Firebird project sounds like a good one, maybe even get the grandson involved?

Yes, it's nice here. There are some things about FL I miss but overall, both DH & I like it better here. One thing I've enjoyed is having some family within 1-2 hours away...haven't had that for a long time.

Do you still have your ducks Phil?

Yup.... Actually I have 8 now ....i had a bad batch where only one hatched so we kept her..... My grand daughter named it JD (just duck) and I also have a small flock of Ayam Cemani chickens too. Is worried about them not thriving in this brutal cold but we have had a night where it got down to - 29 and they are all just fine.
