What are you making?

I don’t prepare anything ahead of time except pies. I might make a pecan this year and that will be it. I made cutout cookies and froze them. I don’t usually do cookies for Thanksgiving but I made some for the teachers for conferences last week and did extra. My son’s girlfriend is bringing a homemade pumpkin turtle cheesecake. I can’t wait to try it.

Other than turkey and roasted butternut squash (will do those on Thursday), I'm making dressing and sweet potato pie. I'm thinking I'll do the pie today and the dressing tomorrow. Even if we get into some of it early, I'm sure there will still be plenty for Thursday.

I love Thanksgiving, it's always been a favorite holiday!

Morning IM! Do you make your relish from scratch? My parents always did but I never have.
