Our cardinals generally stay all year round. I think their relatives visit from up north too.

I love Cardinals! We got tons of them in FL too but never saw a single in while living in WY.

I can't imagine not having them around. They are so bright and beautiful. I'm always wishing chickens came in that color.

It hasn’t been too bad of a winter this year, except that week of bitter cold. We’ve only had 1 late start. The temps are supposed to get into the 40’s. I heard something about record breaking warmer temps.

Good morning everyone. As an innocent child I constructed a trap and caught cardinals to play with. Those little beaks that crack open sunflower seed with can draw blood on fingers. It took awhile but I finally learned to play more with the chickens.
