The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

DH and I are in the process of tearing apart the main bathroom. What a nasty dirty job. This house was built in 1963 and some of this room hasn't been touched since it was built. That's some really old dust to stir up. We're going to try to get this job done before things heat up at the golf course for the season. :fl
Been there and done that. It is not an enjoyable project but the end result is worth it.
G’morning everyone.
Hi IM, welcome back!:hugs
I don't think I posted these pictures here. I wanted to show y'all how clear and pretty the water is right now. The big pond is full and hopefully we won't have a drought this year.

Beautiful!
For once I hope he is way off. Some of the early vegetables I'm late with already and will wait now for a fall crop. To show how gullible some people are when it comes to planting a garden the nurseries are selling sweet corn plants in trays.... Varieties for fields not containers. $1 a plant for an ear or maybe 2 at most. The cost of the plant, container, soil makes for expensive eating just to say I grew it. :) I see so much being pawned off on the unlearned it is crazy now. It's bad enough sweet corn seed selling for $25 a pound now at the farmers supply. I'm not going to ask what 50lb bags of seed corn are selling for to those with fields they need to plant to feed cattle and chickens with.
Average is between $225-$300 here. The size of the bag depends on the size of the kernel. It’s sold as 80,000 kernels per bag.
