That schoolseems to have some poorly behaved and violent little kids.

True, I was thinking that might be it. Makes me more afraid of what the parents might be like too.

That wasn't tolerated in the 50's when I went to grade school. Every teacher was issued a paddle and trained in how to use it to get the needed responses.

I disagree that the threat of violence is the answer; I can’t hit my classmates but you can hit me?

I saw a mouse on the deck the other day. A very brave mouse. My big boy legs was nearby that could swallow a mouse in one gulp.
