Sooo, something I didn’t consider is that it’s about the right time for rattlesnakes to be out and about. No sleeping in my hammock unless there’s trees. I’m kinda bummed, but I can fold my back seats down and with the trunk space I can actually sleep quite comfortably so that’s the plan. Kids are on Spring break next week and I have an appointment so I’ll go camping the week after that. Midweek when there are fewer people I think.

Silver lining to being "old":
if you were in your 40s, you'd be saving for retirement, so housing and feeding 1000 chickens would cut into your 401k!
