Glad you're enjoying those cute new chicks! Things are ok here. Sometimes I miss seeing all the beautiful FL water but the traffic here is much easier to deal with (no tourists)

I don't think I'd be able to live somewhere too tourist-friendly.

Our night got interrupted with a tornado warning so not much sleep happened here. We're ok here but others around 90 miles away were hit. It's going to be a rough day for some, unfortunately.

That's terrible! I hope you're able to recover today from that. Sounds stressful but glad you're okay! I hope no one was hurt where it hit.

Funny, I was a wreck last night because of these little walking chicken nuggets.

@janiedoe mentioned putting something at the bottom of my gate so the chicks don't go through them. I was so busy yesterday, I made a point that I would do it but I thought I had time if they'd stay closer to mom.
Ommmmmg I WAS WRONG I'm in the middle of making dinner and I see 1 chick out and about far from mom and way too close to the main flock's gate. It ended up getting through - squeezing through the tiniest gap! and I was frantically running to get it before the other hens noticed thank goodness chick is safe AND NOW it's protected with a barrier.
