Good afternoon everyone. I'm down to the last bucket of sweet corn to shuck. Looks like the small patch of sweet corn be good for about 5 plus months. The larger patch which is not tasseling yet should give us at least another 8 months supply. My wife is going to can some of what we are processing today so we can decide if we will like it canned. In the past she has always put it in the freeze.

Hope everyone makes it over the humpday bumps in the road ok.

Our bush version of the Roma green pole beans will be coming in soon now. I brought the first picking of jalapenos in with me tonight. Getting the rack ready for the grill. I may grill Saturday as it will not take as much charcoal as hot as it will be.

I managed to jerk my back this morning lifting a 20lb bag of wild bird seed out of the car. So if I'm awol, you can find me in the recliner with a heating pad.
