We are only a high of 74 today, but you can cut the air with a knife. There is no breeze. Sounds like a thunderstorm is moving in.
There is a very large wedding in town today at the fairgrounds…800 people invited. We know the parents of the bride but she doesn’t know us, so we’re not invited…thank goodness. It is going to be a muddy mess.

Humidity is the worst! Those poor people at a wedding will be swimming in mugginess by the time they get done.

I agree. I’m doing some cookies for a wedding shower tomorrow. I hate humid days for that. I have a fan on and the a/c and I haven’t started frosting yet. She wants the color Sangria. I said I’m not promising anything. I’m glad it’s only 2 dozen. I’m not in the mood.

Wishing everyone well with their endeavors of the day. Just routine general chores here today. Not attempting anything that can be done after it cools down some. It is already 97° on the front porch. When it gets up to my normal body temp it is time to seek a cool shelter.

You'll have to share a cookie picture! I'm guessing Sangria is a reddish color? I've drank it before but never seen it as a color for icing.

Deep purplish reddish at least when my dad’s made it before lol

It looks darker on the cookie. She approved the color in the bowl. I told her it would get darker as it dried.
