I cleaned the condenser on the mini split today. It is close to the chicken coop so it gets some dander in the fins.

Yes. I'm enjoying the air conditioning at the moment. I don't know how people survive without it.

I remember our first air conditioned home. I was around 7 or 8 when we moved in. The house we lived in when my parents sold that one was a temporary rental while we built a new home. The rental had an attic fan and window units. I can't remember a home that I've lived in since that wasn't air conditioned.
Our cars didn't have air conditioning though. I think my first air conditioned car was in the late 70s or early 80s.
I can't imagine driving a car in the summer without it now.

When I was around 6, my brother got a window a/c for his bedroom because he had horrible allergies. I'd lay in front of his closed bedroom door trying to feel a scrap of cold air coming out and he'd yell at me for sucking out all his cool air.
