It seem like each year is hotter here! Even though I used 12% less electricity this month than last year, My Utility bill will be $165.00 more this month than the same month last year. $6.00 of the increase is gas and the rest is Electricity rate increases. The bill will be $356.00

Thats awful, Ron. You should move to Texas. Its still too hot, but your utility bills would be less distressing.

I could move to Sacramento or Redding too. SMUD is in Sacramento and have much lower rates. Redding gets most of its electricity form Lake Shasta, hydro electric and is half of what the rate here is.
